    The first floor lower lobby is now available for use. The lower lobby was phase one of the 2024/2025 renovation of Gibson D. Lewis Library building. Gibson D. Lewis Library renovations began August 5, 2024. Check back often for updates, concept drawings, photos and more.

Study Spaces

Beginning Monday, August 5, additional study space will be available to students at the times listed. Reservations are not needed during the designated times:

  • Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • SSC 103, 104, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115 & 116
  • Monday – Thursday, 5 p.m. to 6 a.m.
    • IREB 250
    • EAD 270, 275A, 285A, 285B, 285C, 290 & 295
  • 5 p.m. Friday  – 6 a.m. Monday
    • IREB 250
    • EAD 270, 275a, 285a, 285b, 285c, 290, & 295
  • Monday – Sunday 24/7
    • EAD 110

Vending Machines

During the 1st Floor Lobby renovation, two vending machines have been relocated to the 2nd Floor of the library. The vending machine is located across from the restrooms and elevators.

The 2nd Floor printers have moved to the 3rd Floor, near rooms 306 & 308.

Java Lab

During the 2nd Floor renovation, Java Lab has temporarily been relocated to the newly renovated 1st Floor Lobby.

One University Studio

During the construction period, One University Studio and its DIY spaces may have their availability adjusted to accommodate loud construction noises. During this time, Division of Academic Innovation (DAI) recommends scheduling video production on-location. DAI will come to you. As always, for new media production projects please complete the Media Production Intake Form and DAI will work with you to ensure your needs are met.
