Donation Bins

Gibson D. Lewis Library offers two donation bins for the main floor lobby near the library entrance and the Java Lab.

Eligibility

• Only UNT Health campus departments, student organizations and class project groups are eligible to reserve donation bins.
  Collections must be conducted on behalf of a charitable or non-profit organization/project.

Reservation Process

• Submit reservation requests one week in advance of the first date of the reservation.
• Reservations are accepted for a maximum period of 10 business days.
• Reservations are confirmed on a first come, first served basis.
• There are two separate bins available. If both bins are reserved at the time of your request, we are happy to schedule a future time for your drive.

Responsibilities

• Organizations are solely responsible for checking on the condition of the bin to make sure that it is not overfilled.
• Gibson D. Lewis Library reserves the right to discontinue a donation reservation if a group does not adhere to the guidelines.

Required Signage

• Organizations are responsible for providing an 8.5″x11″ (portrait/vertical orientation) sign
  • Student organization, class name, or campus department title.
  • Dates for item collection.
  • Specific type of items to be collected (example: canned goods, clothing, books, etc.).
  • Recipient organization name (example: UNT Health Student Food Pantry, Salvation Army, Fort Worth ISD, etc.).
  • Contact information for student organization or campus department representative.
