Solar Eclipse Watch Party
Join the Gibson D. Lewis Library, the North Texas Eye Research Institiute (NTERI), and the Student Activities Board for a “cosmic” event celebrating the total solar eclipse on April 8th from 1:00pm – 2:00 pm.
There will be:
- a talk on Eclipse Eye Safety by NTERI’s Dr. Dimitrios Karamichos, at 1:15pm
- free ISO 12312-2 certified eclipse glasses to safely view the eclipse*
- free “cosmic” themed snacks*
- fun activities
The April 2024 eclipse is the last total solar eclipse visible in the contiguous United States for the next 20 years so don’t miss this stellar event!
