Comment: I borrowed a laptop power cord because I left mine at home and my laptop died in class.  I forgot to return it at the end of the day and remembered when I was home, which is an hour away.  I returned the cord this morning, less than 24 hours from borrowing it, and was told it would be a $11 fine.  If I had known there were fines charged for services I would not have used it, I would have borrowed someone elses.  I think charging students fines undercuts the purpose of a library, borrowing items for a short time without paying money. Comment: I was wondering if there was a schedule to the AC in the library. I have been coming in the morning to have it feeling like a sauna and never hear the air on. I would really hope that in Texas in the summer the AC would never be off but it seems like it is. The room I am in says it is OVER 80 degrees which is not acceptable. Submitted on Sunday, July 1, 2018

Comment: How many times can a person vacuum the floor of the library in a week?!?!? THIS IS SO DISTRACTING and IT IS MULTIPLE TIMES A WEEK. I appreciate the school trying to be clean, but this is seriously so ridiculous. Getting kicked out of our study rooms and the constant noise for over an hour is really discouraging and distracting. Also, they vacuum the same spot on the floor at least 5 times. I have taken videos of the janitor making the same circle around a table 7 times. They are also constantly on their phones yelling while vacuuming. This is not conducive to learning. Submitted on Tuesday, June 26, 2018
